Piano teacher in Kuala Lumpur

Music that grows, one note at a time.

I'm Wen Lim. I teach piano to children and adults, from the very first key to the recital stage.

Wen at a grand piano in a sunlit forest clearing

Hello, I'm Wen.

I grew up practising scales before school, windows open, birds joining in. Twelve years of teaching later, mornings are still my favourite time to play.

I hold a performance diploma from Trinity College London and prepare students for ABRSM grades 1 to 8. My studio is small on purpose, so every student gets my full attention.

A lesson should feel like a walk in the woods: curious, unhurried, a little magical.

Listen first

We start with music you already love, then find the technique hiding inside it.

Small steps, every week

What families say.

Parents and students, in their own words.

“Anika used to hide from the piano. Now she practises before I even ask, and hums her pieces in the car.”
Priya NairMother of Anika, 8
“I started at 52 with zero experience. Wen never made me feel slow. Last month I played Clair de Lune for my wife.”
Daniel TanAdult student
“Irfan passed Grade 5 with distinction. More importantly, he still loves it.”
Farah AzizMother of Irfan, 11
“Lessons stay calm even before exams. She notices exactly what I need to fix, and explains why.”
